1. Who we are

These terms apply to training services provided by Sector Tech Solutions Ltd, trading as SectorPass, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 49, Station Road, Polegate, East Sussex BN26 6EA.

SectorPass is an approved centre of Highfield Qualifications.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SectorPass. "You" and "your" mean the person enrolling on a course.

2. What we provide

We provide enrolment onto the Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment qualification, awarded by Highfield Qualifications and regulated by Ofqual.

Your enrolment includes:

• Registration with Highfield Qualifications

• Access to online learning materials through Highfield's Learning Management System (LMS)

• One attempt at the qualification assessment, invigilated remotely by Highfield Qualifications

Your enrolment does not include:

• The CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Operatives Test, which is booked and paid for separately with CITB

• The CSCS card application, which is made and paid for separately with CSCS

• Any resit fees

• Any role-specific training your employer may require

3. What we do not provide

We are a training provider. We are not the awarding body, we are not CITB, and we are not CSCS.

We do not decide whether you pass the qualification. Assessment and certification are carried out by Highfield Qualifications.

We do not issue CSCS cards and we cannot influence a card application. CSCS decides which card is appropriate for your role and whether to issue one.

We do not guarantee that holding this qualification, or any card that follows from it, will result in employment or site access. Site access is determined by the principal contractor or client.

4. Choosing the right qualification

It is your responsibility to check that this qualification and the CSCS Green Labourer/Operative Card are appropriate for the role you intend to work in.

Different roles require different cards. Skilled trades working to trade standard typically require a Blue Skilled Worker Card, which needs a Level 2 NVQ. Licensed security roles require an SIA licence, which is a separate scheme entirely. Northern Ireland uses the Construction Skills Register (CSR), not CSCS.

If you are unsure, check with your employer, or use the card finder tool on the CSCS website, before you enrol.

We have set out this information clearly on our website and in our FAQs. We cannot refund a qualification because you later decide it was not the one your role required.

5. Enrolling and paying

To enrol, you complete our online enrolment form and pay the course fee of £120.

Your enrolment is not confirmed until we have received your payment in full and matched it to your enrolment form.

If we receive a form without a matching payment, we will contact you once. If payment is not received within 5 days, we will treat the enrolment as withdrawn and delete the submission.

If we receive a payment we cannot match to an enrolment form, we will attempt to contact you using the payment details available to us. If we cannot identify you within 5 days, we will refund the payment to the account it came from.

6. Timescales

Once your payment is received, we will submit your enrolment to Highfield Qualifications within 1 working day.

Highfield Qualifications will then issue your LMS login details. You should receive these by email within 3 working days of your payment.

Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales.

These timescales depend in part on Highfield Qualifications. We will always submit your enrolment within our own stated timescale, but we cannot guarantee the awarding body's processing time. If your login details have not arrived after 3 working days, contact us and we will chase them.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information on your enrolment form

• Give us a valid email address you can access

• Meet the technical requirements set out below

• Complete the assessment yourself, without assistance

• Comply with Highfield Qualifications' terms of use for their Learning Management System

You are responsible for having:

• A laptop or desktop computer. Phones and tablets are not accepted for remote invigilation.

• A reliable internet connection

• A quiet, private space where you will not be interrupted during your assessment

If you give us an incorrect email address and your login details do not reach you, we will resend them once you contact us. If an error in the details you provide requires us to resubmit your enrolment to the awarding body, we may charge an administration fee of £50.

8. Malpractice

Assessment malpractice, including having someone else take your assessment or using unauthorised assistance, is treated seriously by Highfield Qualifications.

If malpractice is suspected, we are required to report it to the awarding body. Highfield Qualifications may withhold or withdraw your certificate. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

9. Resits

If you do not pass the assessment, resit arrangements are set by Highfield Qualifications and a resit fee may apply. Contact us and we will tell you what is involved and what it costs.

10. If something goes wrong

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, contact us at sync4sectors@gmail.com and we will respond within 2 working days. We will try to resolve the matter with you directly.

If your complaint concerns the assessment, the marking, or the awarding of the qualification, that is a matter for Highfield Qualifications' appeals process, and we will tell you how to access it.

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for loss of earnings or business opportunity, or for any consequence of a delay caused by the awarding body, CITB, CSCS or a test centre. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your enrolment is the one published on our website on the day you enrolled.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own country.
